- At the Amiga store where I worked, the great majority of these problems
- would turn out to be either 1) corroded/loose/otherwise-poor connections,
- or 2) drives that took too long to spin up.

- For 1), clean the connections, check that you're getting good contact;
- erasers, pennies, and alcohol are all common solutions.

- For 2), wait until you hear the drive reach max speed, then hit
- CTRL-AMIGA-AMIGA. If it boots up correctly, you know that the problem is
- just your drive getting old.
